Software for predicting speech intelligibility

The BSIM demo is available in two versions:

Standalone Version

This zip file contains an executable (Windows^® 2000^®/XP^®/Vista^®) as well as three sample wave files. Please note that the demo version of the software only allows for analyzing sound samples of 0.5 seconds duration or less. For longer files, only the first 0.5 seconds are analyzed. For help on general usage, click on the "Help" button of the demonstrator GUI. An explanation for any element of the interface can be displayed by clicking on it with the right mouse button.

Matlab^® Version

This zip file contains encrypted Matlab^® code (pcode) as well as three sample wave files for running the BSIM demo within Matlab^®. Please note that the demo version of the software only allows for analyzing sound samples of 0.5 seconds duration or less. For longer files, only the first 0.5 seconds are analyzed. For help on general usage, click on the "Help" button of the demonstrator GUI. An explanation for any element of the interface can be displayed by clicking on it with the right mouse button.
