Welcome to the HearCompanion
This service is here to help and advise you on issues relating to ears and hearing.
If you are concerned about your hearing, this site will offer you advice on what you can do next.
If you are a new hearing aid user, this site will be your companion as you get used to using them – providing you with help and support that will allow you to get the most out of your hearing aids.
Even if you have worn hearing aids for a number of years, this site will provide you with expert advice on how to use your current hearing aids to their full potential and manage your hearing loss effectively.
Please note: In the UK, there are special procedures in place for the care of children with hearing loss: HearCompanion gives the standard procedure for adults with hearing loss. For specialist advice on any children’s hearing health issues, please contact your GP or other healthcare professional, who will be able to refer you for appropriate paediatric support.
